TERENCE BLANCHARD appears in HOME the new documentary by filmmaker NAIMAH FULLER. Terence's name is synonymous with great Jazz music. But by no means is that the sum total of who he is, or what his musical gifts are all about. Terence's musical discography contains a long list of movie scores, including the recently released George Lucas movie Red Tails. This spring his musical accomplishments will come full circle on Broadway with the opening of the new play Streetcar Named Desire. A native of New Orleans, Blanchard made his way north to New York City as a young aspiring musician. Terence is back home now, where he shared his migration story for the new documentary movie HOME about African Americans relocating to the South. Watch the Trailer and hear Terence talk about being back HOME in the most musical city on the planet.

Recording Artist JULIE DEXTER is one of the many great artists featured in the new documentary HOME. The British-born recording artist shares her story of choosing the South over New York and LA, to create a home base for her recording career. Julie is among an entire community of Black Brits in Atlanta, who have opted to make the South their HOME.

HipHopDrama fromUpTOPTo The ATL
DJ Drama is
one of HipHop's top producers who has joined the ranks of famous
HipHop artists who have made the South their home. Most of the top
names in the Southern Hip-Hop game can be found between Atlanta and
Miami. Drama shares his story of moving from Philadelphia to Atlanta
in the soon-to-be-released documentary movie HOME: The Great Migration
Of The 21st Century. Similar to the Harlem Renaissance era during
the Great Migration of the 20th century, when Harlem and Jazz was all
the rage, the HipHop community is making a mark in the South and
making Atlanta HOME.

AN ARTIST WHO CAME BACK HOME... OKEEBA JUBALO
Is the quintessential Renaissance Man. O as
I affectionately like to call this multi-talented brother, is a poet,
songwriter, musician, recording artist, as well as a painter. Whew!
And he does it all so well. On top of all that talent, he is a
single father. He allowed me to place him in front of my camera to
share his story of moving back HOME to Atlanta from NYC.
